Intensive research inevitably led to new developments in the pump-manufacturing sector. Typical, at the beginning of pump production in the Dickow factory was the grant of a Patent for a Side Channel Pump in 1933.

Development of a metal bellows mechanical seal without elastomer's - at a time when Viton, PTFE and Kalrez were still unknown - opened new possibilities for handling hydrocarbons and solvents. The latest development, for which we have applied for a patent at the German and European Patent Office, is the MAG-SAFE Protection system for monitoring magnetic coupled pumps.
